Cromer's And Small Business Saturday
November 17, 2011
Thanksgiving is next week and you're already seeing the ads and posts online about Black Friday. There are a lot of great deals to be had come November 25...but the REAL benefit to shopping is coming on November 26, 2011. Saturday marks Small Business Saturday and is being promoted countrywide. Upon hearing about the new push to promote small businesses this November 26, Cromer's P-Nuts decided to actively promote it as well. Cromer's is the quintessential small business here in Columbia, making the capital city proud for over seventy-five years. Started with a dream of one man, Cromer's has grown to be an institution in popcorn, peanuts, concessions and more. However, you may not know that Cromer's P-Nuts is still family owned, by Julian Cromer's granddaughter, Carolette. Not only have we perfected our products, we have stayed here in Columbia, offering the customer service and products that really no one else is offering in the area. We employ only around 25 people to make all of our food, boil all of our peanuts and welcome you into our store with the helpfulness and personalized service you get when you bypass those big box retailers. We are thankful for you when you stop by and visit, and thankful that you choose Cromer's over larger, more impersonal stores. We are in business because of your dedication to Small Business in Columbia.
Cromer's IS family. It's customer service. It's a personalized experience each time you come in. And while November 26 will be no different - we'll still be helpful, listen to your needs and suggest great products for gifting or your event - we wanted to take this day to promote the idea of shopping locally and supporting the business people who keep Columbia alive and prospering. Come visit and we will welcome you with grateful arms!
